Fashion Roof Services is a direct full-service textile production company for premium and luxury fashion with specialised manufacturers in Portugal and Italy. Our customers benefit from the in-depth expertise, international network and many years of experience of our team in Hamburg. The team is led by our founder Stefan Eckert, formerly of Alexander McQueen and owner of his own established luxury brand since 2009. Collection planning is the most important factor for success and forms the strategic foundation for positioning a collection in the premium and luxury segment.
At the beginning of each collaboration, we work with our clients to analyse the target group, the market environment, price positioning and relevant competitors.
On this basis, we develop an independent, market-oriented collection concept that combines a clear creative vision with economic viability and is specifically geared towards the requirements of the market and successful collection development.
Collection design
For the joint collection design, we welcome our clients to our Hamburg studio for a dedicated Fitting & Design Day with Stefan Eckert and his team.
Collection design is a central factor in determining how garments are perceived and accepted by retailers and end consumers. The focus lies on developing a distinctive design language and a clear creative vision that sets the collection apart from existing competitors.

Product development
Product development is closely integrated with collection development and culminates in the creation of high-quality prototypes. From the very early stages of textile development and material selection, we consistently align all decisions with the target retail prices defined during collection planning, the brand’s market positioning, and the expectations of the respective target audience.

clothing production
Fashion Roof Services’ clothing production takes place in our manufacturing facilities located in the renowned Portuguese textile regions around Braga, Guimarães, and Barcelos, as well as with selected partners in Northern Italy. All preparation and project coordination are carried out in close collaboration with our Hamburg-based studio team, which personally supports our clients throughout the entire textile production process of their premium and luxury collections with dedicated points of contact.
This structured approach offers both fashion start-ups and established brands a reliable, transparent, and partnership-driven collaboration throughout the full production cycle.
Custom Fabrics
All custom fabrics and components required for the textile production of a collection are individually developed and manufactured at Fashion Roof Services. This approach gives our clients complete creative freedom and enables the unrestricted realization of their collection and design vision.
For the production of fabrics, metal hardware, trims, zippers, and additional components, we work with carefully selected and experienced partner manufacturers across Europe. In close collaboration with our Hamburg-based studio team, we support material selection as well as the development of individually branded details such as buttons or zippers.
Garment Customization
For garment customization and packaging, Fashion Roof Services offers a comprehensive portfolio of premium and luxury techniques, as well as individually developed solutions realized in close collaboration with our Italian and Portuguese partners. Our portfolio includes over 500 innovative customization and packaging options currently used in collections by international designers and renowned luxury fashion houses.
From high-quality printing and embroidery techniques to exclusive surface finishes and brand-specific packaging solutions, we support our clients in the precise execution of their brand identity.
Onlineshop
An own online shop is a key direct-to-consumer sales channel for both fashion start-ups and established brands—especially when no proprietary retail stores are in place. In collaboration with our specialized partner agency, Fashion Roof Services provides professional e-commerce solutions for fashion brands operating in the premium and luxury segments.
Our online shop solutions are designed as turnkey systems and include all essential features of a professional e-commerce presence: integrated payment processes, logistics and shipping integrations, efficient shop structures, and a scalable technical foundation.
